Copyright 2021 - Beith Golf Club (Est 1896)

Welcome to our website and thank you for taking the time to visit it.

The course is set in the hills above Beith, in North Ayrshire, and the Club dates back to 1896. From then until 1996 it was a 9 hole course, however in that year, the centenary, a new 9 holes were opened giving us 18 holes in line with the other clubs in the area. In 2018 because of the general downturn in golf, it was decided to revert to the old 9 holes to see if we can keep the club going on for the foreseeable future.

We are pleased to announce that this was a successful move and the Club continues to flourish.  For those wishing to play 18 holes, we have two tees for every hole giving a bit of variety on each tee shot.

Beith is a hilly parkland course with spectacular views over the surrounding areas, from Ailsa Craig & Arran to Ben Lomond. 7 counties can be seen from the elevated 6th tee, and nature is in abundance, with deer and buzzards among the wildlife on show.

We have small undulating greens and rolling fairways, mixed with various degrees of rough and numerous bunkers, the course can be tough but rewarding.

The course requires accuracy over length, with some ‘blind’ second shots, and the par 3, 5th would not be out of place on any course.

We have a recently opened putting green at the rear of the clubhouse.

Please take the opportunity to come and play the course and enjoy the facility and scenery.
