Contingency plan should a diagnoses of Coronavirus be reported by a member, employee or visitor to the Club

  1. Should any member, employee or visitor be diagnosed with COVID-19, please could you email the Club at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. as soon as possible and advise us, confidentially, of this and whether you have been in the Clubhouse or locker room in the 14 days prior to being diagnosed.

  2. If we receive confidential notice of this from any member, employee or visitor, we will then advise all others at the Club both by email and club notices that someone has tested positive.

  3. It is possible that, in light of infection information being provided by a member, employee or visitor to the Club and if the Clubhouse has been permitted to be open, then we may have to close the Clubhouse for a period of time to protect the well-being of other members and employees, and help avoid the potential further spread of the virus and also to allow deep cleaning of the Clubhouse.

  4. In this event we will, if permitted, keep the golf course open so that members may still play golf.

  5. If we do have to close the Clubhouse for the reasons above, it could well be that competitions and club matches are affected.  If the Clubhouse is closed, you should check with the Match Secretary who will be able to advise if scheduled competitions and matches are still able to take place.  You should also check this website and Beith Golf Club Ayrshire's Facebook page for notices.

Please be assured we will do everything we can to look after our members, employees, guests and visitors, while also making sure you can continue to enjoy your time on the course which will be maintained subject to staff health.

Most importantly please take care of yourselves and your families and follow the Government guidelines.

We will update members if and when this advice changes.

Thank you for your cooperation.
